Madonna has jetted off to Italy with her family unit to celebrate two special birthdays.

The musician turned 64 today (August sixteen) and travelled to Sicily earlier this calendar week to celebrate her own altogether, as well equally her son Rocco who turned 22 earlier in the month.

The family are currently staying in the luxurious Palazzo Castelluccio, an 18th Century Sicilian palace. The Queen of Pop has reportedly spent thousands on the celebrations and flying her family unit to Italy.

Earlier celebrating her ain birthday, Madonna hosted a party for Rocco, who she shares with ex Guy Ritchie. The singer took to Instagram to share enough of snaps from the special mean solar day.

Madonna wore a beautiful cream-coloured silk dress which was covered in a pink floral pattern. The outfit was cinched in at the waist with a small-scale belt.

She accessorised her wait with plenty of jewellery including colourful bangles and diamanté necklaces. She also carried a pocket-size yellowish handbag and wore a pair of strappy gold heels.

Madonna opted for a glamorous makeup await and wore her long blonde hair in loose waves.

The birthday boy opted for a low-cal blue shirt which he wore partially unbuttoned. He was given an unusual birthday cake which was designed to look like a briefcase and was helped to cut it by his sisters.

Madonna had hired a band to perform at a luxurious family dinner equally they sipped on wine and fizz and danced the night away.

A source previously told The Sun what Madonna volition be up to for her birthday. They said: "Every bit with every birthday, Madonna will host an epic party, merely this year will be particularly special.

"The palace is nothing curt of spectacular. I tin only imagine she has diddled tens of thousands on the evening. But when you're worth £700million, money isn't an issue."

They added: "The plan is to have dinner and drinks outside under the Mediterranean sky with a live ring. All of her family unit are flight to the isle with her."

Teasing her big birthday celebrations, the superstar has taken to Instagram to share a series of racy snaps. In the pictures, Madonna sported black satin underwear and stockings.

She captioned the mail: "Information technology's almost my birthday . . . ship me presents."
